Primary responsibility for the daily analysis and reconciliation of the University’s application of payment processes by identifying and correcting variance daily.
Primary responsibility for reconciling revenue between Banner Accounts Receivable, Banner Student Financial Assistance and Banner Finance.
Primary responsibility for the reconciliation and distribution of federal, state, institutional and private funds to students and the University.
Primary responsibility for the review, processing and disbursement of reductions in tuition and fees, determining the eligibility, validity and method of disbursements of refunds.
The position will assist in the processing of student fees and departmental revenue.
The position requires cross training in various aspects of collections, contracts, exemptions, fee assessment and refund policies, campus based, state and federal loan programs and accounting.

Required Qualifications
Education
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of one year of related progressive accounting experience.
Experience
This position requires a mathematical aptitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, high level organizational skills, a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and an ability to work well under pressure both independently and within a team.
Must be detailed oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1-2 years of related progressive accounting experience.
Experience
A working knowledge of Banner and ARGOS software.
Prior customer service and/or cashiering experience is preferred.
Prior financial aid experience preferred.
