Accounting and business operations support for the Department of Athletics including but not limited to accounting system entries, Banner encumbrances and requisitions, account reconciliations monitor accounts receivable, verify Athletics Ticket Office deposits for posting, assist in training Student Assistants and Graduate Assistants, compile data for NCAA, Dept.
of Education reports and surveys, manage data for monthly internal reporting, game contract audit and oversight, revenue contract audit and oversight, assist with account reconciliations and posting, monitor internal purchase requests and approvals, formulate and uphold business operations policies and procedures and internal controls, other duties as assigned.
Salary Range $35,568-$44,400- Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity Salary Type Salary Time Type Full-Time Work Location MU - Marshall University

Required Qualifications
Education
BA/BS in accounting, finance, sport management or closely related field.
Experience
A minimum of 1 year accounting experience or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Master’s Degree in related field.
Experience
Experience using Banner, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, and ARGOS software.
Athletic accounting experience.
