*Required Experience:*
* High school diploma/GED
* Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
* ACDS, WVIT or ECCAT certification (preferred; training provided at time of hire)
* Minimum of 1 years' experience in childcare preferred
* Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills
* Ability to build rapport with children and families
* CPR and First AID certified (must complete at time of hire)
*Responsibilities/Skills:*
* Assist in providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
* Assist in implementing lesson plans.
* Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
* Take direction from Lead Teacher
* Maintain required trainings (provided through WVSTARS)
* Daily cleaning/room maintenance
* Dedication to child safety and well-being (employee recognizes they are a mandated reporter)
* Sound judgement and understanding of child development
* Ability to support childrens' physical, emotional, psychological, social, and personal development
* Ability to communicate effectively and respect confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $11.
