The Department of Accountancy and Legal Environment at Marshall University is seeking an assistant professor for a nine-month tenure track appointment beginning August 2024.
The position will include teaching responsibilities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels with a willingness to work with DBA students.

Candidates must possess interest and/or demonstrated ability to teach face-to-face and online.
Successful candidates need to exhibit effective teaching ability, a strong commitment to research that results in publications in peer-reviewed journals, and a willingness to participate in department, college, and university service.

Location MU - Marshall University Salary Range Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Required Qualifications
Education
Candidates will hold a doctorate in Accounting from an accredited institution.
This opportunity is also open to ABDs.
Applications from all areas of Accounting will be considered.
Preference will be given to candidates who have strong research skills and experience working with graduate students.
Experience
Qualified candidates must possess interest and/or demonstrated ability to teach face-to-face and online modalities and demonstrate above average teaching ability and quality scholarly research.
