Hey y'all.
I've not had to get christmas help before, but between a $700 vet bill, and a plane ticket to bring my 17 year old sister over here, my savings is wiped clean.
I am broke this year and stressing about getting just a couple presents for my kids.
Girl, 7 and Boy, 5 (and girl, 17, but she's more understanding of a slim Christmas.
) They are simple kids and are greatful for any little thing.
At this point even a decent winter coat for each would help tremendously.
Do we have any services in this area that I could reach out to? My husband and I are both veterans if it makes a difference, I know that we sometimes have additional resources available to us.
I can also provide proof of the vet bill and plane ticket.
I'm just struggling and don't know where else to reach out.
We have helped so many with holidays in the past, and I'm hoping karma will come back for us.
Please if you know of any resources, it would be so greatly appreciated.
