As the *Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit*, you will provide total patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and individual patient needs in conformance with the recognized standards of nursing practice.
The Registered Nurse would expect to see a mixture medical/surgical, telemetry and critically ill patients with co-morbidities.
Most patients have underlying cardiac issues.
This unit is a great area to grow and learn – wonderful opportunity to grow to ICU.
It is a fast-paced, great teamwork and engaging environment with a focus on individualized and evidence-based care.
*Qualifications & Requirements for a Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit:*
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
* Maintains active RN license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and any other states as applicable.
* Achieves and maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)· Achieves and maintains other certifications as required by department:
* Adult Patient Care Units- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within the first 90 days of hire.
*Preferred qualifications for a Progressive Care Unit RN:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
