Near Mint 1955-1956 Gibson RB-100 Banjo With Lifton HSC (Yates Ring) - $2,699 (Ashland/Huntington Area)

For Sale is a near mint condition,great sounding and playing mid 1950’s Gibson RB-100 with a nice period correct Lifton Gold Lined HSC.
Arthur Hatfield installed a Yates V33 No Hole Unplated Flat Head Ring.
The FON dates its to either 1955 or 1956, original condition with the exception of the ring, new 5th string tuner, Remo USA Head, Snuffy Smith Bridge and Newer Presto Tailpiece with out its cover.
New Diaddario EJ60 strings,Small feeling comfortable neck profile with spikes at 7,8 and 9th frets.
The original 5th string tuner is included, this RB-100 in my opinion is as good as it gets for an all around banjo with a sweet mahogany tone and power.
It Is completely ready to go and I do have videos available for sound sample.
