DESCRIPTION:
Directs and controls the Rental Store sales and rental fleet activities.
Assists and coordinates Company rental sales activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
Minimum two years supervision and/or sales in the industry preferred
Strong computer, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage "walk-in" and telephone customer inquiries, rentals, sales, and problems promptly
Manage incoming/outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely processing of documentation and procedures
Assist and support Rental Sales Rep (RSR) and District Sales Reps (DSR) in preparing rental/sales related quotes and documentation
Lead, direct and monitor assigned Rental Store personnel to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
Manage any customer problems or complaints and inform Regional Rental Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Branch Operations Manager of these
Coordinate Rental Store product support activities to achieve proper and prompt repairs of new, rental, used, and customer units
Maintain accurate information in Rental Store data systems on assigned inventory and transactions
Process Rental Store over the counter billing transmittal/documentation and submit to Sales Support within two (2) working days of transaction date
Maintain current inventory of show room products, brochures, and pricing for Rental Store products
Perform all tasks in a professional, accurate, and timely manner, meeting designated completion deadlines with limited supervision
Accommodate customer emergency needs during nonscheduled work day/hours
Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
