Store Associate Job Description Job Responsibilities for Store Associate * Welcome and answer questions from customers regarding products * Maintain a clean and organized storefront inside and outside * Monitor store displays and keep all areas well-stocked and organized * Properly process sales and discounts and coupons aligning with the vendor preferences * Secure the building and showcases to protect valuable items * Follow store procedures for opening and closing the business Expectations for Store Associate * Friendly and approachable demeanor * Attention to detail is essential for assisting customers and maintaining quality booths in partnership with vendors * Ability to spend an extended period working in a standing position * Basic math skills are needed to accurately close out transactions and provide change to customers * Ability to multitask and balance the needs of several customers at once * A detailed understanding of item categories and items available in-store and the ability to correctly answer customer questions is needed * Work as a team with other staff persons and contribute to a smoothly flowing experience for all customers and vendors * Punctuality and accountability when arriving at work and closing out cash registers nightly Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $9.
