General Maintenance Technician Job Description:
· General Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance to avoid possible failures and malfunctions
· General Maintenance Technician assists in developing and improving on current preventative and corrective maintenance programs
· General Maintenance Technician completes daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
· Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them
· Perform installations, assemblies, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed
· Maintain daily records of maintenance activities
· Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
· Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working condition
· Attend job training and safety programs as required
· Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements
· Perform maintenance tasks based on blueprints, written instructions, verbal instructions, pictures, and maintenance manuals.
· Provide assistance to co-workers in a team-based environment
· General knowledge of basic hand tools
