Position: Packaging Technician
Location: Big Sandy Plant – Catlettsburg, KY

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 9:00 – 5:00PM
The Packaging Technician performs the full range of assignments involved in functioning within a self-directed work team.
The Packaging Technician is primarily responsible for the packaging and screening of activated carbon products.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
With the guidance of the Warehouse & Shipping Manager and with the assistance of the Team, the Packaging Technician is responsible for the packaging of finished product and by-products in accordance with established manufacturing procedures on all production lines and in all areas
Paperwork associated with packing product
Understanding and maintaining a dust-free environment by assuring all dust abatement equipment is in place and working correctly
Responsible for working with Maintenance to minimize packaging area product and dust leaks, as well as maintaining a safe workplace
Qualifications
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
0-2 years of manufacturing experience is required
Previous supervisor experience is preferred
